Antes que “Warlock Choice”, la banda se llamaba "Sophie’s Choice", un proyecto musical que pretende hacer música basada en el espíritu musical de los setentas.

Víctor Ramos (guitarra y voz) es el componente original que permanece dirigiendo la banda desde 1977. En los inicios el repertorio estaba basado en versiones de Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, Lucifer’s Friend, Budgie y Led Zeppelin, además de sus propias composiciones.  En 1979 teloneaaron Ian Gillan Band tras su primera salida del cantante de Deep Purple, en el Teatro Monumental de Madrid. En esos años fueron también teloneros de Clem Clempson (Humble Pie) en la mítica discoteca MM de Madrid y participaron en festivales junto a grupos españoles como Burning, Cai, Canarios, Azahar, John Martyn, Mermelada, Flor de Basura, Eduardo Bort, etc. En 1980, tras cambios en la formación, Enrique(Burning) tras su partida del mítico grupo madrileño, habla con la banda para producir un cambio en su línea de rock oscuro, pero el proyecto no llega a término y  Warlock se separa. Tras un intento de formar una nueva banda con Jero (Ramoncín, Saratoga), Víctor cambia de ciudad y y viaja a Alicante, donde a través de los años participa en varios proyectos (menos duros).

En 2009 Víctor forma “Sophie’s Choice” junto con su hijo Pablo a la batería y se edita el CD: Caña-Mo-Town. En 2016 la banda decide volver a su pasado más “duro” y Víctor y Pablo graban las canciones de “Warlock “ (1977-1980) que nadie quiso publicar en aquellos tiempos. El LP “Warlock 35 Años Después”  ve la luz en Marzo de 2017. En esa época, en directo se hace cargo del bajo Jesús Arnaiz.

Pablo Ramos abandona el grupo a finales de 2018 por incompatibilidades laborales. Tras un año con “Paquito” en la batería en directo, Jesús Arnaiz (el Bëiruth) se incorpora como miembro en 2021.

Tras la publicación del LP "Warlock 40 años antes" por la discográfica Guerssen y su notable repercusión, Víctor decide cambiar el nombre de la banda a “Warlock Choice” (obviamente ahora no se podían llamar “Warlock” . Como “Warlock Choice”, nombre actual de la banda, se edita el álbum en vinilo: "Interplanetary Fuck" en la primavera de 2023. En 2024 Jesús Arnaiz abandona el grupo. Su puesto es ocupado por Jesús Martínez (Zepo, Sharon Taste, Ultra Zorras. etc.) y Bojias se incorpora en los tambores (Eclipse, China, Garaje, y colaboraciones con Comité Cisne, Carlos Goñi, Raimundo Amador, entre otros).

Before ‘Warlock Choice’, the band was called ‘Sophie's Choice’, a musical project that aims to make music based on the musical spirit of the seventies.

Víctor Ramos (guitar and vocals) is the original member who has been leading the band since 1977. In the early days the repertoire was based on covers of Black Sabbath, Hawkwind, Lucifer's Friend, Budgie and Led Zeppelin, as well as their own compositions.  In 1979 they opened for Ian Gillan Band after the Deep Purple singer's first departure, at the Teatro Monumental in Madrid. In those years they also opened for Clem Clempson (Humble Pie) at the legendary MM discotheque in Madrid and participated in festivals with Spanish bands such as Burning, Cai, Canarios, Azahar, John Martyn, Mermelada, Flor de Basura, Eduardo Bort, etc. In 1980, after changes in the line-up, Enrique (Burning), after his departure from the mythical group from Madrid, talks to the band to produce a change in their dark rock style, but the project does not come to fruition and Warlock breaks up. After an attempt to form a new band with Jero (Ramoncín, Saratoga), Víctor changes city and travels to Alicante, where over the years he participates in several (less hard) projects.

In 2009 Víctor forms ‘Sophie's Choice’ together with his son Pablo on drums and releases the CD: Caña-Mo-Town. In 2016 the band decides to go back to their ‘harder’ past and Victor and Pablo record the songs from ‘Warlock’ (1977-1980) that nobody wanted to release in those days. The LP "Warlock 35 Years Later" was released in March 2017. During this time, Jesús Arnaiz took over on bass live.

Pablo Ramos left the band at the end of 2018 due to work-related conflicts. After a year with "Paquito" on live drums, Jesús Arnaiz (Bëiruth) joined in 2021.

Following the release of the LP "Warlock 40 años antes" on Guerssen Records and its notable impact, Víctor decided to change the band's name to "Warlock Choice" (obviously, they couldn't call themselves "Warlock" now). With "Warlock Choice" as the band's current name, the vinyl album "Interplanetary Fuck" will be released in spring 2023. In 2024 Jesús Arnaiz split up. His position is taken by Jesús Martínez (Zepo, Sharon Taste, Ultra Zorras. etc.), and Bojias joins the drums (Eclipse, China, Garaje, y colaboraciones con Comité Cisne, Carlos Goñi, Raimundo Amador, entre otros).
